We are all trying to live a greener life. We know that it is in our Earth's best interest for us to live a greener lifestyle. But it can be hard to be green all the time. If there were tips that you could use to not only help your oral health, but also to make the Earth better, we know you would do it. Look out, we have some Earth-friendly oral health tips for you. Tips for a Greener Mouth First, if you want to live more greenly, you could find a new toothbrush. There are new toothbrushes on the market that are BPA-free, which is a chemical that is very harmful to the Earth. In fact, the toothbrush is biodegradable and recyclable, because it is entirely made of repurposed materials, such as wood, paper and dollar bills. The bristles are soft, and the head of the brush makes it very difficult for you to overbrush. If you want to give the healthy bacteria in your mouth a friend, there are also new toothpastes on the market that contain elements your mouth will love, such as charcoal, coconut, and Xylitol, as well as a bacteria to support all the good bacteria living in your mouth. Not only will your teeth be clean, but there will be bacteria in there working to make sure it stays clean. Finally, once you've brushed, what about flossing? There are now flosses that are designed with coconut oil, which is such a great anti-inflammatory agent. Flossers, like the toothbrush we were speaking about earlier, are also biodegradable and recyclable. This means that your coconut oil flossers are good for your mouth and the planet as well. If you are looking for ways to make your mouth clean and green, why not give us a call? We would love to help you be the best environmentally conscious mouthed person you can be!
